Massachusetts Teachers Association - Massachusetts Community College Council

Secure and maintain the ability for community college professors and staff to have academic freedoms and integrity, to attain salary in line with a standard of living and comparative work, to sustain job security, and to maintain reasonable workloads. Members pay dues to advance these academic freedoms, assist in mutual work, and protect their labor. Dues are used to fund chapter events, assist the Board of Directors in lobbying efforts to secure contracts, pay for office members to assist in organizing, and pay for grievances that occur at each college.
