The All-Star Mainly Mozart Orchestra is comprised of North Americas greatest orchestral musicians, the largest such assemblage on any stage. In addition to its annual orchestral festivals performed throughout San Diego, Mainly Mozart produces year-round programming which includes Cross-border collaborations Meaningful work in the autism community Outreach into underserved parts of our community Commission and world-premieres and Chamber music in intimate venues featuring world-class artist.
Special commissioned events and Genius series, which explores and celebrates the music-brain connection.
Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra, an inclusive Youth Orchestra that helps to shape 300 young lives each year. Featuring top instructors with decades of experience, MMYO provides its students with solo, chamber, and orchestral performance opportunities all throughout San Diego. MMYO offers unparalleled access to the Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra, the largest annual gathering of concertmasters and principal players from major orchestras across the country, including the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic. MMYO has a core commitment to inclusion.
