Description
Maine Business and Professional Womens Futurama is a foundation that helps Maine women achieve economic self-sufficiency by awarding scholarships to outstanding deserving women. They have been helping women since 1962 when the first small scholarship was presented, and they continue to enhance the tradition of “women helping women” through their scholarship program. The BPW/Maine Futurama Foundation was established in 1987 to ensure the continued availability of scholarships, and they hold an annual Induction Ceremony for the Maine Women’s Hall of Fame to honor accomplished Maine women.
