Program areas at Maddie's Fund
National partnerships - we funded a number of strategic national partnerships again this year, including human animal support services and Maddie's million pet challenge projects. We approved 18 new partnership grants this year.
Research grants - we funded several research projects focusing on access to veterinary care, including The aligncare project. We approved 5 new research grants this year.
Education grants - we continued to provide educational opportunities for workers and volunteers in our industry through opportunities like conference scholarships, shelter medicine training, Maddie's university course development, and in-person, online and hybrid trainings. We approved 12 education grants this year.
