Program areas at Love of Eastern Carver County
Supporting and equipping church ministries: we provide information to churches and volunteers to know who the clients in need are so they can respond more effectively to the needs through ministries and ministry events. We assist Inc creating visibility for the ministries within the entire community, as well as raising awareness for needs so the churches can have a greater impact.
Developing volunteerism: we share the stories of neighbors in need so church and community members can be aware and moved to respond to those in need. In addition, we strive to help volunteers to know how to lift and bring hope to neighbors in need, seeing all people are valuable and having god given potential.
Help line (clearinghouse): trained volunteers answer phone lines to start a relationship with neighbors in need. We accurately record and document each client's needs and connect them to resources in church ministries and events, as well as other local service organizations.
