Louisville Public Library foundation supplies Library materials including funding for the Library's read baby program that offers board books to newborns and their parents and sponsors story times at the Library for young children
The loiusville Public Library makerspace provides learners of all ages a place to collaborate on creative projects in science, technology, engineering, art and math (steam). The makerspace provides learners with hands on experience and instruction in 3d modeling/ printing, robotics, coding and a varienty of crafts. Learners are able to 1. Design 3d models and print on mini 3d printer. 2. Create videos using a green screen 3. Create iron -on transfers using a cricut machine 4. Compose, record and edit music 5. Make jewelry and much more.
Reading programs to keep children, youth and adults actively engaged in reading throughout the year, included in this is the summer reading program which provides incentives to those who reach their goals.
