Program areas at Louis August Jonas Foundation

Camp rising sun crs is an international summer leadership program for extraordinary young people aged 15 - 16. Selection is highly competitive and is based on intellect demonstrated academic achievement and an ability to think critically, character honesty, compassion, integrity, leadership potential self-confidence, openness and fairness in dealing with others, and individuality developed abilities and interests. A special focus of the camp experience is the nurturing of ethical leadership skills. The Louis August Jonas Foundation lajf operates camp rising sun and recruits campers worldwide. Campers invited to participate are awarded a full scholarship. Each year, campers from more than 30 countries and 10 states are invited to attend camp in the belief that youth with different life experiences and from a variety of diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds have much to offer each other.
