Program areas at Los Angeles Education Partnership
Through its transform schools program, Los Angeles Education Partnership laep works with school administrators, teachers, students, families and community partners to provide services that reduce barriers to learning, address opportunity gaps, and foster high-quality instruction. The program promotes whole-school transformation based on six core elements that include 1. High quality instruction, 2. Teacher leadership and collaboration, 3. College and career preparedness, 4. Parents as partners, 5. Youth empowerment and 6. Educational equity. To implement the program model, laeps work is divided into teaching learning, community schools and college career pathways subprograms.
