Program areas at Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund

The Chargers Impact Fund has been providing funds to educational institutions for more than two decades. Programs such as Chargers Champions have assisted schools with grants or improvements to improve the health and well-being of the regions children. In addition, First Downs for First Books program donates books to kids, schools, and nonprofits throughout the LA region. Through The Alliance, the Organization has become part of a collaboration of 12 professional sports organizations to address racial injustice, develop educational opportunities, and support other important issues facing communities of color, particularly Black communities. This commitment includes supporting the Play Equity Funds social justice movement in Los Angeles, and in Orange County amplifying the work of Accelerate Change Together (ACT) Anaheim.
