Logan Rogersville Educational Foundation

Lref grants out nearly all of its income from its annual fundraising event. We strive to maintain about 10,000 in our checking account for operating expenses and to make a contribution to our endowment with any remaining funds (after grants and covering operating costs). This fulfills our mission, "to promote Educational excellence in the logan-rogersville school system and community by generating financial resources from private funds to provide support for students, faculty and organizations," by funding grants from l-r teachers that directly influence the learning environment of l-r students. We also give an annual scholarship to one l-r senior and fund any extraneous requests outside the normal grant cycle from the district that promote Educational excellence, as funds allow.
