Program areas at LADD

Through LADD providers, Shared Living services provides residential services according to "My Plan" to adults with disabilities that are in need of services through referrals from Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services. People are served in homes throughout Hamilton County. Limited respite is also provided. 83 people served.
Housing ervices provides services to a diverse group of adults in apartments ranging in size from 1-8 settings. In each setting people live and learn skills that will eventually help them live successfully in the community. 16 people are served at Victory Parkway.
For Community Supported Living supports are provided to enable people to live in housing of their choice. Our employees provide the level of support needed to live as independently as possible in the community. Each person participates in a planning process with the support of our staff and a "team" that may include friends, family and other professionals, to develop an Individual Service Plan (ISP). This plan addresses their on-going need for support and ensures their health and safety while living in the community. Services can range from a few hours each week to 24 hours a day. Total of 94 people served, of which 31 recieved remote moitoring services.
"SOAR-Services for the Ownership and Acquisition of Residences. Through this unique service, LADD assists people with a disability to become homeowners. LADD employees provide support to people by identifying needs and housing resources available in the community to meet the needs of the person as they relate to owning a home. 306 people served.The Supported Employment Program assists people with disabilities to acquire and maintain meaningful employment. This program generates a partnership between employer and employee by linking people who can and want to work with employers who need reliable and qualified employees. 61 people served.Find A Way Apartments in Oakley and Margaret B. Geier Apartments in Kennedy Heights, LADD provides support to people who are low income and have a disability. Ideally located in residential areas of Greater Cincinnati, these apartments offer people the opportunity to live in the community while being close to shopping, banks, churches, recreation facilities, bus routes and expressways. Thirty-nine people live in their own apartments at each of these locations. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides rental subsidies to those living in both apartment buildings. 77 people served at Find A Way and Geier Apartments." Community Connections Program offers community based day programs to support individuals. 74 people were served and 338 group outings.
