Program areas at Lions Clubs - 17
Muttiple District 17: Income is received from general membership dues, CD interest, and the sale of Lions pins and shirts to the membership. Expenses are directly related to organizational and logistical support costs and the promoting of the three local foundations; Kansas Lions Foundation, Kansas Lions Sight Foundation, and the Kansas Lions Band Foundation
Kansas Lions Band Program: This program supports high school band students from around the State by hosting two annual band programs (State Band and International Band). Annually over two hundred band students participate in the State Band program and if there are sufficient number of students, they perform at the Lions Clubs International annual convention. The primary goal of these band programs is to promote and foster the Fine Arts. Fees are collected from the students, individual Lions Clubs, and financial support provided by the Kansas Lions Band Foundation. ooo. eeannnece
