Description
Linn County Animal Rescue is a rescue and sanctuary facility that accepts abused, neglected, and abandoned animals, mostly equine, from different agencies and individuals. Working closely with the Linn County Sheriff's Office Livestock Investigation Team, the Linn County Sheriff's Mounted Posse, and the Horse Welfare Council, LCAR provides nutritional and medical services to rehabilitate abused horses for adoption by approved families. Animals have included dogs, goats, sheep & llamas. LCAR provides nutritional and medical care as well as personal care.
