Program areas at Lincoln County Historical Association

Museum Collection & Research Library: Museum, research library and collections facility spaces, related software and subscriptions, museum exhibits & collection supplies. Research and historical books relating to the history and heritage of Lincoln County.
Properties Preservation: Preservation of historic Plonk Cemetery and other historic properties including legal fees for acquisition and property maintenance.
Programs, Exhibition and Educational Initiatives: Events commemorating the Revolutionary War Battle of Ramseur's Mill incuding living history demonstrations, tours, and reenactment. The dedication of interpretive signage along with visiting historian and lecture series. Cornwallis Burning of the Baggage commemoration, speaker and various demonstrations. Participation in Heritage Day School Event highlighting basketweaving and daily life demonstrations. Hosting of Jean LaFitte walking tour and visiting author lecture series.
Membership Outreach: Bi-monthly newsletter distributed to members, educators, and local leaders. Annual member meeting and visiting historical speaker.
