Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care (JACH)

Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care provides a coordinated program of support, service and Care for terminally ill patients and their caregivers both throughout the surrounding counties and within our 20 bed inpatient unit. Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care served over 2,300 patients in 2022. Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care renders services to individuals who are financially unable to pay for Care who meet certain criteria under its charity Care policy without charge or at amounts less than the established rates. The amount of charity Care provided during 2022 was $420,000. In adddition to the charity Care provided, the organization also provides bereavement services, pediatric services, and education to the Community, which estimated $913,555 during 2022.
