Comprehensive vision rehabilitation services were provided to approximately 570 adults including independent living skills training, low vision services, orientation & mobility services, access technology training, braille instruction, transition services, employment training, job placement & development, client care coordination, and advocacy.
Lighthouse works! Provides a number of services and products in which approximately 75% of the direct labor force is composed of individuals with blindness or severe low vision. Net revenues generated from these services and products are used to support the vision rehabilitation services of Lighthouse Central Florida.
Early intervention and school age services were provided to 242 infants, children, teens and their families including individual in home services and social excursions.
