Program areas at Libby's Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation
Cancer screening initiative- free Breast health services such as mammograms, sonograms, biopsies, and other related medical services were provided to underserved and uninsured women in the central Florida community. During this fiscal year,women's center for radiology donated medical services and pathology services in the amount of $129,869, radiology imaging specialsts donated medical services and pathology services in the amount of $18,750, and orlando health imaging center donated medical services and pathology services in the amount of $116,236.
Mammogram access project - the mammogram access project mobile mammography unit served women with Breast screening mammograms at a convenient location. Libby's Legacy was able to drive hope home to the underserved minority population by providing free screening mammograms onsite at churches, community centers, and clinics. During the fiscal year, radiology imaging specialists donated services in support of the mobile program in the amount of $2,551. During the fiscal year orlando health imaging center provided $15,879 in donated support
Patient advocate liaison service - the program assigns a hope coach to each person diagnosed with Breast Cancer, that coach stands by them and assists them in navigating the health care system to assure they have access to treatment and surgery. During this fiscal year, orlando health Cancer institute donated medical services in the amount of $2,750,000.
