Legacy of the Lakes Museum

Museum attendance during the season was 4,733, a continued upward trend after covid. Visitor statistics show a 17.5% increase in number of states represented, a 32% increase in number of mn towns represented, a 51% increase in first-time visitors and a 38% increase in repeat visitors. Funding from the tahoe Maritime foundation allowed an increase in the number of education programs offered from 9 to 30 serving 816 participants, up 88% from 2022. Three new exhibits were mounted, incorporating new exhibit cases and ipads with interactive programs. A rare 1934 triple- cockpit graveatte used by the 3m company at it's resort in park rapids, mn was accepted into the collection. the annual boat show, family day and music in the gardens concerts all had an increase in attendance.
