Program areas at Leavenworth Public Schools Education Foundation
The Foundation supported student focused and teacher led programs in the Leavenworth Public School District including $59,700 for Sparking Innovation - Innovative Teacher Grants, $4,000 aspiration and college preparation, $6,000 for STEM focused after school projects, $5,000 AVID Expansion, $5,000 back-pack buddies, $10,000 family student engagement, and $6,000 for character emphasis and good citizen student programs at each school.
The Foundation also provides additional financial support to Leavenworth Unified School District in support of on going programs and needs, including sponsoring graduation, recognition of student scholars and many other one time requests.
The Foundation supported: $42,460 Active Floors, $3,000 school reading grants, $4,500 Leavenworth teachers are appreciated grants, $5,666 high school mentor program, $7,000 high and middle school pride program, $2,500 student mental health grant, $660 new teacher academy, $2,000 teacher of the year program, $6,000 character and project wisdom, $2,020 project inspire, $7,751 teacher and staff appreciation inspiring joy in our Pioneers and $13,636 in support the Horizon Kids Before/After/Summer program.
