Leave No Veteran Behind (LNVB)

Through a partnership with chicago public schools, lnvb provides safe passage service to students attending schools in communities at risk to violence. Through a partnership with the department of family and support services, lnvb offers to expand the program's scope and offer year-round stem (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) based career paid apprenticeships for youth and paid teaching positions for veterans who already possess military taught technical skills through a transitional employment program, chicago steam corps. This program produces entrepreneurial, skilled laborers who understand the entire engineering process, from the research and development phase, to application of the design process (e.g. Creating and testing a prototype), and can then go on to apply the scientific method in high end manufacturing jobs.

Through a partnership with chicago cook workforce partnership, lnvb performed contract tracing services as part of the county's effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
