Program areas at Latinos in Transit

Latinos in Transit (lit) was formed in 2016 and it's mission is to advocate for Latinos and other minorities in the public Transit industry to be promoted to chief level positions. Minorities make the largest users of public Transit, yet, the c-level positions are not reflective of this. Lit advocates and provides a platform to engage Latinos to network and obtain professional development. Lit provides a virtual setting with monthly programs called "cafe con lit and an annual virtual symposium for hispanic heritage month.
