LA Compost connects people of Los Angeles to the soil and each other by building and facilitating composting communities throughout LA County. They restore lost connections to the soil and one another, co-creating spaces for local compost access, engagement, restorative practices and community empowerment with a diverse network of partners within LA County. LA Compost engages 3,500 community members through their farmer's market food scrap drop-off program and 916 community members through their La Compost community co-op program.
