Himb grant - conducted collaborative Coral restoration in maunalua bay, oahu, Hawaii (helped restore 1,596 colonies in total throughout the year) and assisted in evolution research with the Coral resilience lab at the Hawaii institute of marine biology.
Heco grant - conducted monitoring and mapping at hecos kahe power plant warm water outflow by producing detailed thermal, photomosaic, and 3d maps on the reef surrounding the effluent. Launched the Kuleana Coral Reefs dive safety program by creating a certified dive safety manual, established a dive safety board, and set up a core staff for gaining advanced certifications and training.
Aloha aina grant- conducted Coral restoration projects, reef mapping and monitoring of sites, and held outreach education programs for the local community on the west side of oahu, Hawaii.
