Koko services: we have developed several chatbot interfaces to interact with users, provide mental health interventions,and connect them with additional support resources, as appropriate. Our chatbots utilize artificial intelligence and text-based detection algorithms to identify individuals in distress and match them with interventions and resources they are most likely to use and to benefit from.the Koko services are delivered through the chatbot on a host of touchpoints, including online messengers, web applications and cellphone text messaging services. Koko is free to users on all of these platforms.we aim to embed the Koko service into as many online platforms as possible, so that we can reach people where they are. In furtherance of this goal, we collaborate with technology companies to enhance Koko's visibility to members of their online communities. Sometimes these technology companies will issue mental health "public service announcements" with links to resources, including Koko. Other times, links to Koko are provided as a result for mental health-related searches on the technology companies' platforms. The Koko chatbot runs on several of these companies' direct messaging services.
