Kiwanis International - K03715 de Pere

Major emphasis-donating to the hope squad to fight teensuicide in area high schools, i-pads for autism (a wi-um signature project) and donation to Kiwanis int'l foundation to honor an outstanding club member. Community service--we support the ribbon of hope for families going through breast cancer, depere historical society, depere beautification and music and arts for the community. We contribute to the city of de pere police & fire recognition and the city beautification effort. We have also sponsored the de pere memorial day parade, one of the largest in the state for the past 50+ years. Spiritual aims which supports causes such as the de pere christian outreacyh center, local cp telethon, pauls pantry a local food bank & the salvation army

Youth services--to support the youth and children of the area through the Wisconsin bookworms, that provide books each month to student identified at risk through a local school & scholarships to local high school students identified by the school who are pursuing a 2 year program after high school. Sponsorship of the american legion basesball team, city of de pere recreational programs, de pere youth soccer, de pere girls softball, brown county pals program and the west de pere music department.

Service leadership--to support the circle k club at st norbert college and the key club at de pere highs school--programs to encourage service and leadership in college and high schools and provide support for their efforts and volunteering to service to the community.

Funds pass throughs and expenses from community events which we sponsor jointly with other area service clubs
