Program areas at Kingdom Advisors
Annual Conference:Kingdom Advisors' 18th Annual Conference, Redeeming Money, was held February 23-25, 2022. 1,924 attended the conference, a 20% increase over our last live conference in 2020. Of the 1,924 attendees: 405 attended their first KA Conference and 120 students and 40 faculty members attended from 17 colleges and universities. 10 World-class plenary speakers including Mitch Anthony, Ron Blue, Matt Chandler, Bob Doll, Michael Kitces, Finny Kuruvilla, Earl McClellan, Danielle Strickland, Lysa TerKeurst, and Rob West provided tremendous encouragement and inspiration to the attendees.(Continued on Sch. O)(Continued from Part III)In addition, attendees participated in 28 workshops and 18 community group sessions designed to take attendees deeper with the integration of biblical financial wisdom into their work life in areas such as generosity, client discipleship and practice management. The event also featured 8 hours of industry CE credit.Consistent with prior years, the feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive! Our Net Promoter Score for the event was 78%.
Local Communities and Partners:In FY 22, Kingdom Advisors had approximately 250 Study Groups meeting across the United States and Canada. Kingdom Advisors study groups are comprised of members and prospective members meeting locally or virtually to experience dynamic teaching, engage in group discussion, examine best practices, and fellowship with like-minded professionals. Kingdom Advisors professionally-produced, original teaching content serves as the backdrop for a time of learning and interaction as financial professionals integrate their faith and their vocation.
Radio Program:MoneyWise Media is a financial wisdom ecosystem offering content, community, innovative tools, and expert guides for Christians who desire to make financial decisions that align with biblical wisdom.MoneyWise Media produces 4 daily, call-in radio programs heard on more than 1,500 non-commercial radio outlets with an average weekly cumulative audience of more than 3 million people. The program serves the public through daily instruction and teaching on faith-aligned personal financial management. In 2022, the American Family Radio Network added MoneyWise, adding 180 new radio stations airing our daily radio program, with an additional 1.5 million listeners a week. (Continued on Sch. O)(Continued from Part III)In addition, callers engage the program each day across the United States by seeking answers to their own financial questions. In FY 22, an average of 195 listener questions were answered each monthly on air. Through a principle-based approach, MoneyWise is committed to using the daily broadcasts to assist listeners in maintaining a healthy relationship with money and experiencing the joy that comes through generous living.MoneyWise Media's website (moneywise.org) and the MoneyWise App help Christians apply biblical principles to their daily financial decisions with a simple digital budgeting system, the ability to listen to all of the MoneyWise radio episodes, to ask questions of the MoneyWise community, and to gain wisdom from the biblical financial articles, videos, and podcasts. MoneyWise Media also trains volunteer MoneyWise Coaches to assist the public in developing a spending, giving, and savings plan that aligns with their values. The MoneyWise Coaches answer questions through email and via one-on-one virtual coaching, providing principle-based personal responses to questions. In FY 22, an average of 400 user questions were answered each month by MoneyWise coaches or the MoneyWise online community.
Training Program:In FY 22, Kingdom Advisors trained 218 members with the Kingdom Advisors CKA Educational Program and the 2nd Edition Core Training web-based training courses. Christian financial professionals commonly refer to these two training courses as "life-changing" due to their uniqueness in casting a vision for ministry impact through the unique leverage point of the financial advisor and the confidence that comes by understanding the biblical basis for professional financial advice. The training supports the growth of advisors in three key areas: delivery of biblical financial advice, wisdom in practice management, and equipping in personal and spiritual growth.
Membership:Kingdom Advisors membership grew 4.6% to 3,409 members as of 06/30/22 with a retention rate of 91%. 1,289 members hold the Certified Kingdom Advisor Designation. Most members pay dues and may also make charitable contributions to Kingdom Advisors if they wish. The organization serves its members through advocacy for biblical financial advice in the marketplace, community via events, study groups, and affinity groups, training in various formats and topics related to the industry of Christian financial advice, and distinction by offering the Certified Kingdom Advisor designation. In FY 21, there were 28,707 searches for a Certified Kingdom Advisor by the public through the Kingdom Advisors web site.
