Program areas at Keplers Literary Foundation

General Public Program: KLF offers a nationally recognized program of live and online cultural and literary events for the general public that covers a range of global and local topics. Programs encourage people to recognize different perspectives, engage in stimulating conversations, foster creative thinking, and explore new ideas. KLF produced literary events reaching over 10,000 people.
Under-served Youth Program:This program serves low-income students in the schools in East Palo Alto and Belle Haven who lack access to cultural opportunities. We produce literary events in each of Title I public schools featuring top childrens authors. We donate copies of the presenting Authors books to the schools with each visit. We regularly invite High School students from this community to attend our Premier events, gifting them books and arranging for them to meet top-tier writers backstage. KLF produced literary events reaching 1800 low-income students.
Youth Program: The goal of the youth program is to ignite a passion in young people for reading and writing. Outstanding writers and artists meet online and face-to-face with young people to discuss the importance and power of storytelling. Youth events take place online, at Keplers Books and in local public schools. KLF produced cultural and literary events engaging over 5,000 young readers.
