Throughout 2022, 450 KC Tenants volunteers spent nearly 10,000 hours organizing their apartment buildings, neighborhoods, and city.
The Hotline responded to approximately 2,000 tenants in crisis, the East Side Tenant Union and the Midtown Tenant Union ran local campaigns against neglectful landlords and gentrifiers, and the citywide union held the city accountable to implementing tenant-focused programs effectively.
