Kay Yow Cancer Foundation

This past year, the Kay Yow Cancer fund continued to focus on educating, empowering and equipping the next generation in the fight against Cancer through the national empowerment tour. The tour consisted of 13 presentations, bringing the total to 43, and has now reached 12 states. The fund's national grassroots movement in sport, play4kay, also continued to be a catalyst in elevating the mission of the fund. The fund made final payment of 250,000 to duke Cancer institute to complete a 1 million grant in support of endometrial Cancer. The fund also awarded 650,000 across multiple grants that are providing access to quality Cancer healthcare for underserved women.
