John Hay Elementary Ptsa

Expense is for student support and educational enrichment. Funds spent are in support of John Hay Elementary school, a public school, for tutoring, after school programs, music, drama, spanish and classroom enrichment. Approximately 275 students are served. The organization raised funds for programs that support the continuous school improvement plan. These supplemental programs are offered as a permanent part of the curriculum. In addition, it provided opportunities for the members of the school and local community to develop relationships outside of the classroom. It also coordinated volunteer efforts for the school community. Board committees created and modified subcommittees, established a reporting process and otherwise helped to ensure that all volunteer efforts are effective and in alignment with the school's transformation plan.
