Jewish Family Services of Greater Charlotte strengthens and empowers individuals and families through professional counseling, programs, and services inspired by Jewish values. Our team of caring therapists provides compassionate, high-quality confidential counseling and emotional support to guide individuals through their problems. We are dedicated to ensuring that older adults feel supported, engaged, and connected while also living as independently as possible. Our JFS team is sensitive and responsive to the special needs of all seniors.

Emotional Health and Well-beingJFS provides compassionate, high-quality confidential counseling and emotional support by a team of caring, compassionate therapists who are here to listen, guide and help you sort through feelings, work through problems and find solutions. Our team of Masters-level clinicians have specialized areas of expertise and provide a full range of counseling and support services for children, adolescents, adults, families and older adults. Whether helping couples who are struggling with marriage or divorce, parents who need some guidance, individuals who are seeking help with lifes challenges or helping victims of domestic abuse, our licensed and trained therapists are ready to assist you in reaching your goals.
Crisis Response and AssistanceJFS strives to empower people to identify and overcome their barriers to self-sufficiency by developing individual action plans. JFS operates an in-house pantry that provides food, personal care items and other necessities. JFS manages the Community Tzedakah Fund which provides short-term emergency financial assistance to individuals and families that qualify.
Senior EngagementJewish Family Services is dedicated to ensuring that older adults feel supported, engaged and connected, and can live as independently as possible for as long as possible. JFS team is sensitive and responsive to the special needs of all seniors regardless of faith, race, nationality, gender or sexual orientation. JFS conducts senior visits, assistance with coordinating and planning care for older adults, and provides educational programs centered on holiday and cultural traditions.
