See schedule o.liverpool antimicrobial resistance citizens' juryin january 2022, the Center for New Democratic Processes conducted the liverpool antimicrobial resistance citizens' jury project. The project was commissioned to explore attitudes and perspectives about relationships among public and private entities collaborating to monitor and develop responses to antimicrobial resistance in liverpool pfizer inc. Provided funding and support to the project. Pfizer inc. Collaborated with this project as it aligned closely wiht pfizer's commitment to understanding the public perception of antimicrobial stewardship and related issues. The university of liverpool commissioned the jury as part of its strategic commitment to involving local citizens in the the co-design of research and development. This 6-day online jury assessed scenarios covering multiple patient pathways and provided recommendations for information sharing and the structure of relationship amont public and private actors whose goal is to monitor and respond to antimicrobial risistance (amr). Event: january 2022, 6-days, 18-participants, online - publications: full report; executive summary; project websites - outcomes: the project sponsors have incorporated results and findins to shape the develop;ment of their proposed data sharing network on amr in liverpool. The project was also shortlisted for the uk health security angency's "antibiotic guardian" award for public engagement on amr issues. Revitalizing democracyrevitalizing democracy is a mult-year initiative, funded by cndp founder to expand the use of deliberative civic engagement in the us, particularly on an issue of national concern. Activities: activities in 2022 focused on ongoing education and outreach among us government officials, researcheers, policy professionals, and federal agencies - particularly related to emerging technology, artificial intelligence, and antimicrobial resistance. Results: cndp staff connected with dozens of lawmakers, staff, and officials from a variety of government agencies to explore possibilities for using deliberative methods to address national policy isues and decisions. Cndp produced responses to multiple requests for information published on the federal register. In 2023 cndp will be conducting a national level deliberative event which builds on the revitalizing democracy activities conducted in 2022.
