Carnegie East House: James Lenox House Association is pleased to continue its financial support of Carnegie East House's enriched housing model.
Rental Subsidy Program: James Lenox House Association was pleased to continue offering rental subsidies to James Lenox House and Carnegie East House residents in economic need. This important subsidy provides many of these residents with the critical funds needed to continue living at James Lenox House and Carnegie East House. During FY 2022, residents received rental assistance totaling $117,908.
James Lenox House Association provided enriching direct services to its residents during FY 22 through its Resident Services Program. The Association provided exercise classes, music concerts, a computer lab, social work staff, a registered nurse who visited residents weekly, COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccine vaccination clinics, a first-floor library with well-stocked books, fraud prevention seminars, weekly Happy Hours, and more. AileyDance for Active Aging, our dance partnership with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, remained a popular resident program that fostered a sense of community, helped prevent falls, and furthered resident artistic expression. We continued to keep our residents safe in FY 22, and no resident has died from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
