The Jacksonville Science Festival, inc.'s mission is to bring Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (steam) to all the members of our community through collaboration with k-12 grade students, major arts, Science, and environmental organizations, the city of Jacksonville, local businesses, universities and the public. Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (steam) as experienced through the Jacksonville Science Festival promotes tourism, encourages education, and helps the growth of the economy by stimulating new interest and careers in 21st century jobs.

Program areas at Jacksonville Science Festival

Free annual community event, open to the public, that offers opportunities for all students k-12 to experience s.t.e.a.m. By showcasing student-led projects, collaboration with local experts and mentors.
After school program to promote education to ages 5-15 for at-risk and low-income students in the community. In 2022, we averaged around 40 students per day.
Summer camp program to promote s.t.e.a.m. Education to ages 5-15 for at- risk and low-income students in the community. In 2022, we had 6 weeks of camp averaging around 170 students per day.
