Jackie Nitschke Center serves adults and families facing substance addiction and mental health challenges by providing lifesaving hope, healing, and recovery to create stronger families and healthier communities. The organization offers a transitional living home for adult alcoholics and drug abusers in Brown County and adjacent counties, enabling them to re-enter society and the workforce at a minimum cost. Additionally, Jackie Nitschke provides three levels of continued care for substance abuse, allowing the client to stay within a familiar setting with counselors they already know.

Our treatment approach is based on the disease concept. As addiction is an all-encompassing disease, we believe that recovery needs to be the same. Therefore, we address all aspects of a person's recovery: physical, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual. We use a variety of therapeutic approaches, individualized to suit each client's experiences and goals.our campus location and involvement with the recovery community, gives clients the opportunity to become connected to community-based recovery support groups. This is crucial for lasting recovery. Family involvement and support are also significant components of healthy recovery and is included in our treatment programs.
