The Izzy Foundation

The Izzy family room is located on The 5th floor of The hasbro children's hospital & is a space for inpatient families. Children undergoing cancer treatments and other illnesses are often in The hospital for prolonged stays, sometimes lasting months. The Izzy family room provides a relaxing environment to visit with others, enjoy a meal, make coffee and spend time together away from The hospital room. There are also weekly yoga classes, birthday parties, comedy shows, haircuts, massages, family movie night & more. Support groups - care group: The Izzy Foundation sponsors this unique group of caregivers which gives an opportunity to come together to offer peer support to our fellow pediatric cancer families. Grief group: gives support, understanding, compassion, warmth & hope. The Foundation, along with The tomorrow fund, co-sponsor this unique group of caregivers which allows The members The opportunity to grieve and cope in a safe space while being surrounded by other peers who have experienced a similar loss.
