Program areas at Izaak Walton League of America-York Chapter 67
The trout co-op program in cooperation with state fisheries commission, raise trout for stocking in local stream waters as a no fee community service. Promote the fishing sports and youth involvement through stocking activities, youth education and a kids fishing derby.
The iwla juniors program provides an opportunity for young people to connect with nature, develop leadership skills, and become environmental stewards through conservation projects and educational activities.
The firearm program offers a variety of shooting sports to the public, designed to educate and encourage the safe handling of firearms, and promote competition.offer education classes to the public for new firearms owners and hunters.promote youth education and involvement through special public youth activities and education.
Community outreach - support local scouting, school districts and general public by donating the use of our grounds for outdoor educational activities and " youth field days".
