Program areas at Iranian Cultural Society of North Carolina
The Persian school continued through classes and outdoor activities and saw a significant increase in participation with the establishment of in-person classes at the Iranian Cultural Society of North Carolina, Inc's (ICSNC) Persian school in the Aria Cultural Center. The school, now furnished with new furniture to accommodate all children as young as age 3, experienced a substantial rise in the number of students and volunteer teachers. The Montessori classes were set up at Suite 702, and the rest were held at Suite 700. Adult Farsi classes continued online. In addition, Massnavi classes erer held on a biweekly basis at the cneter with solid attendance. Montessori method materials were pruchased by the teachers and were installed in the classrooms. (Continued on Schedule O).(Continued from page 2) Several extracurricular activities were held at the school, exposing the children to traditional musical instruments. ICSNC also held several successful traditional events during year 2023. These cultural events were attended by students, families, teachers, and community members. Ther Persian school achieved a significant milestone by raising approximately thirty thousand dollars in donations toward building a playground on the grounds of the Aria Cultural Center. This successful fundraising effort is a testament to the community's support and commitment to ICSNC.
