Program areas at Iowa Farm Sanctuary
These expenses include but are not limited to constructions costs related to fencing shelter for the animals electricity and water to all of the structures on the farm vehicle expenses farm equipment purchases farm equipment maintenance payroll restroom facilities and other operational expenditures.
This expense covers the veterinary care our rescued animals require throughout the year. This includes specialty care for our special needs rescues such as prosthetics and carts. This also includes routine healthcare emergency visits and any other care the resident animals receive from the veterinarians.
These expenses covers the food all of rescued resident animals need throughout the year. The animals include pigs cows ducks chickens goats sheep and cats. The food includes but are not limited to bales of hay grains mineral blocks and species specific treats.
