In pursuit of its mission to create a more peaceful and secure world without Nuclear weapens, ippnw's three main programs are: 1. International campaign to abolish Nuclear weapons is educating the public, the media and decision-makers about the humanitarian impacts of Nuclear weapons and advocating Nuclear disarmament. 2. Aiming for Prevention is taking a public health approach to reducing and preventing injuries and death from armed violence, particularly in the developing world. 3. Medical student networking is encouraging the next generation of socially-responsible Physicians to peace, disarmament, and a healthy planet.
