Program areas at International Doctors in Alcoholics Anonymous
Idaa conference: since 1949, idaa has provided a unique International network of peer recovery support, meetings, resources and encouragement to doctoral level health care professionals and their families. Idaa's annual meeting provides a combination of continuing medical education (cme), recovery education and mutual help meetings. Idaa provides resources and support for members, their families and their children in full support of family recovery. The idaa annual meeting is the centerpiece of idaa's activities and like all idaa services, is a network operated within the tradition of anonymity.
Idaa member programs and services (besides the annual conference):1. Helpline: available to members and non-members via email or phone, connecting individuals based on location or profession. Supports early recovery, licensing issues, and assists family members.2. Member portal: exclusive access for members to specific programs. A. Meeting list: searchable database of virtual and in-person recovery meetings. B. bulletin board: community platform for discussions and individual needs. C. archives: online access to past conferences, monthly speaker meetings, conference aa, family recovery tracks, ce's, and banquet recordings.
