World cheerleading championship (wcc):the wcc conducts the following:- icu world & junior world championships of 3,000 athletes from 70 nations- icu continental championships & cups in st. petersburg, russia (europe), san jose, costa rica (americas), shenzhen, china (asia), cape town, south africa (africa)- the International olympic committee has recognized cheerleading as an offical olympic sport.
Growing cheerleading internationally:- expansion of the icu world championships division to 25 national teams specifically for athletes with disabilities (called para sport Cheer/ adaptive abilities) from 9 countries- sport ministry recognition in argentina, botswana, Georgia, sweden, trinidad & tobago- national olympic recognition in canada, greece, and thailand
Support to International governing bodies for training, coaching and safety of athletes. Provides education and training for 2,000 coaches in 90 countries.
