Program areas at LCI

District and club officers and administration - the district governor team, club officers and lions clubs international staff are responsible for ensuring that clubs and members further the purposes of lions clubs international and are responsible for promoting effective membership growth and new club organization. Also included in this program is the district governors-elect (dge) seminar, which is an intensive training seminar designed to equip district governor-elect with the knowledge, vision, and skills necessary to strengthen and build lions clubs international.

International convention - each year over 20,000 lions attend the international convention held annually in a different country. Participating in the international convention gives lions members a greater appreciation of lions clubs international's global impact and strengthens their commitment to serve. The international convention allows lions to: 1. Meet and exchange ideas with fellow lions. 2. Partner with other lions in an international project or share ideas and cultural experiences. 3. Participate in the election, which gives local clubs a voice in their international leadership, as well as voting on constitution and by-law changes. 4. Attend special workshops to learn new strategies for increasing membership and revitalizing clubs, effective functioning of districts and multiple districts, new service activities, effective public relation tools, leadership best practices and much more.

Lion magazine - lion magazine is the official publication of lions clubs international and is published in 21 languages and is circulated to the entire membership base. The purpose of the magazine is to inform lions members with regard to programs, club activities, and policies of lions clubs international.
