To unite all Workers eligible for membership into one labor organization; regardless of religion, race, creed, color, national origin, age or sex; to engage in organizing Workers and to provide services to those who are organized; to secure improved wages, hours, working conditions and other economic advantages through collective bargaining; to engage in cultural, civic, legislative, political, charitable, welfare, social and other activities which further the interests of this organization and its membership directly or indirectly; to provide financial and moral assistance to other labor organizations or other bodies having purposes and objectives in whole or in part similar or related to those of this organization; to engage in community activities which will advance the interest of this organization and its members in the community and in the nation, directly or indirectly.
