Inmates to Entrepreneurs hosts virtual eight-week courses for anyone with a criminal background who has started or is interested in starting their own small business. This free course is offered year round over the span of eight consecutive weeks. Topics cover everything from first steps and attitude to marketing and business finance. Inmates to Entrepreneurs in conjunction with our sister organization The Brian Hamilton Foundation offers a free self-paced online course that covers the essentials of starting a business. Inmates to Entrepreneurs hosts two hour correctional facility boot camps across the country. Our instructors provide an overview of starting a low-capital business as well as handouts to help facilitate notetaking. These boot camps are conducted virtually; however North Carolina facilities can request in-person boot camps if they would like.
