We teach people how to say no to drugs and how to make healthy choices. To reduce the demand for drugs, Informed Families has focused its efforts on educating and mobilizing the community, parents and young people in order to change attitudes.

Program areas at Informed Families the Florida Family Partnership

In 2023, the programs in miami positively impacted our local community by increasing access to essential educational resources offered by Informed families, providing opportunities for skill development on our four annual prevention campaigns to students, parents, and other organizations. Attendance and participation in coalition meetings helped promote community engagement and social cohesion. In total, Informed families reached almost 3 million people through our programs and outreach efforts.the father's in action and advocacy week took place across miami-dade county schools during the week of april 17-21, 2023. The fatherhood task force of south Florida, Inc. Hosted a total of 29 agencies, including Informed families, that hosted specialized trainings focused with fathers in mind and the important role they play in raising their children. Miami's community newspaper, if programs, and marketing team created a back-to-school special edition paper during the summer of 2023. The special edition provided resources geared towards parents so that all the information for a successful school year would be available easily and in one location.
