IIAI represents the business interests of almost every Iowa independent insurance agency. We are proud to report 721 member agencies, who serve the citizens of Iowa with another 271 branch offices representing over 8,000 licensed agents. We also have 93 companies who give IIAI support by being Affiliate members. The Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa will be an unrelenting advocate of the business, professional and political interests of its members; doing so by working in the public's interest and with the highest ethical standards.

Program areas at IIAI

Promotion, advocacy and other general services to Independent Insurance agencies doing business in the state of Iowa. Approximately 549 member agencies at year end.
The association coordinates seminars, workshops and conferences providing for development and learning opportunities for Insurance Agents doing business in Iowa.
The association hosts the annual meeting and convention for its membership each year. The convention provides development programs in addition to providing opportunities for networking and sharing of ideas among peers.
