Program areas at In-Sight Photography Project

Core classes: In-Sight after-school classes in photographic arts for youth ages 11-18. 111 spaces in classes were filled, 22 classes were held, and 86% of youth needed financial assistance to attend class.
Insight Photography Project partnered with local organizations to make Photography more accessible to youth through photography-based events. We participated in brattleboros monthly gallery walk from may to october displaying student art in our gallery and inviting the public into the facility for darkroom and camera demonstrations. We also partnered with boys and girls club of brattleboro, brattleboro housing partners, westgate community housing, and tri-park cooperative bringing photography-based events to those with the least access to the arts and our facility downtown. Additionally we collaborated with bonnyvale environmental education center so students could explore nature Photography with experts in Photography and the natural world. Partnerships - 5 classes held with after school programs, 31 youth served. Events - 14 free photographic art events held, 175 youth images on display, 179 students participating, 839 people visited our gallery.
