Prea resource centerthe national prison rape elimination act resource center (prc) is operated by the organization through a cooperative agreement from the bureau of Justice assistance within the u.s. department of Justice. The prc serves as the national resource for direct and online support, training, technical assistance, and audit support to assist adult and juvenile corrections, detention, tribal detention, community confinement facilities, and law enforcement professionals in their ongoing work to eliminate sexual abuse and sexual harassment in confinement.
Restorative justicerestorative Justice encourages constructive responses to wrongdoing. It brings those who have harmed, their victims, and affected community members into processes that repair harms and rebuild relationships. At its best, restorative Justice produces consensus-based plans through face-to-face dialogues that meet victim-identified needs while supporting the positive development of those who've harmed. This can take many forms, most notably community conferencing models and circle processes.

Impact innovationsprojects in Impact innovations offer new, groundbreaking ideas to accelerate Justice system change through a wide range of programming including research, direct service, community partnerships and more.housing lab and the research and action center (rac)impact Justice's housing lab includes the homecoming project and national housing incubator, projects which nurture and invest in innovative, proven solutions to strengthen our support systems for formerly incarcerated people. The homecoming project is a social Justice extension of the sharing economy that pairs people returning home from long prison sentences with welcoming hosts who have a spare room in their home. Our national housing incubator is another housing lab innovation that provides coaching, training, and funding to community organizations launching and running reentry housing projects to meet the needs of formerly incarcerated community members across the country.the rac partners with community service providers, government agencies, and key stakeholders across the country to research, evaluate, and support implementation of the most effective and innovative practices. Recognizing the ways in which intersecting layers of marginalization can compound adverse system impacts, the rac maintains a critical focus on racial and ethnic disparities and the impacts of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression throughout every stage of the research process.
