Democratic republic of congodrc is a country that continues to struggle with maternal and infant mortality. Skilled birth attendants and equipped health facilities are critical to safe deliveries. Ima ensured 356,264 mothers gave birth at health facilities by skilled attendants.addressing malnutrition is a critical intervention to prevent life-long impairments in cognition and physical development. It is estimated half of all child mortality in the drc is due to malnutrition. Assp has screened more than 3 million children for malnutrition since the program's start.

Tanzaniatanzania is a country that faces significant risks for neglected tropical diseases, so ima works in the communities of great need where ntds spread. This year, ima distributed medicines that prevent the spread of neglected tropical diseases such as lymphatic filariasis to 33m people.malnutrition is a significant threat to a generation of tanzanians. A lack of access to proper nutrition from conception to age 2 can result in life-long challenges. Ima builds local capacity to combat malnutrition for a collective population of 10.2 million. Ima efforts train nutritionists, community workers, health facility workers, non-health sector service providers, mothers and other caregivers to identify and treat root causes of malnutrition.

South sudanima world health has been working on health systems strengthening, malaria and hiv/aids interventions.essential medicines for a population of 3.4 million were procured and distributed, and ima played a key role in supporting the minstry of health in rolling out the boma health initiative and establishing 75 teams in akobo, bor, duk, fangak, maban, nyirol, pigi, pochalla, twic east and uror counties.with funding from the global fund through population services international, ima world health also distributed 1 million bed nets treated with insecticide to get an edge on the disease, protecting an estimated 2 million people.
